Ludobites 8.0

New Year, New style. So I think I'm going to change my style of blogging a bit. Excessive writing is definitely not my style and, let's be frank, I doubt anyone reads everything on a blog anyways. So I'll change it up and post pics only with the description of the dish. This will be a much better way to blog my eating...since I hate writing.

Ludobites 8.0 is definitely one of my favorite ludobites thus far. Some dishes just kind of give you the "i don't see how they go together, but hell, I'll just chow it down and see how it goes" mentality. And guess what..they work!

Chicken Tandoori Crackling

The creaminess from the chicken liver moose is just out of this world. Packed with tons of flavor and makes you want more.

Uni Creme Brulee

I have to say this is my favorite dish of the night. A nice and rich uni intermixed with the saltiness from the salmon roe and, here's the best part, the sweetness from the sugar crust totally bring this dish together.

Foie Gras, Tamarin, Turnips, Daikon

Raw Beef, Radish, Beets, Eel

Monkfish Liver, Cucumber, Cornichons, Mustard Seeds

Steamed Black Seabass, Fennel, Lettuce, Bernaise Vinaigrette

Jidori Chicken, Parmesan Soubise, Broccoli, Walnuts, Eggs

Ludo and chicken is always magic. So I had a high expectation of this dish. The meat was succulent, the walnut puree and eggs both complemented so well with the chicken. This truly highlights the french style of Ludo.

Duck, Orange, Olives, Carrots

Chocolate Napoleon, Orange Creamsicle

I love the light waffles in this chocolate dessert. Dark chocolate combined with the sweet orange cream flavored ice cream. My only complain is that I wish I have more of the orange creamsicle ice cream!

Lemon Meringue Tart

All in all, Ludobites 8.0 is a success. I'll definitely come back for round 2 through walk-in. And if your stomach is hungry, might as well come to Ludobite and have the time of your life.
